Durable flooring and wall solution customized for Wimbledon Park gym
At The Bounce Gym in Wimbledon Park, we delivered a durable, hygienic flooring and wall solution tailored to the specific demands of a busy fitness environment.
— Installed Polyflor Wood FX vinyl flooring with hot-welded joints in the cardio room, providing a warm aesthetic with professional-grade performance.
— Applied wall protection in both gents and ladies toilets, using a cape & cove method with a 1000 mm vinyl upstand, creating a water-resistant and easy-to-clean finish.
The cardio room was situated approx. 500mm below ground level, and during rainy weather, moisture was seeping in from below. To resolve this, we applied a two-part DPM (damp proof membrane) prior to self-levelling, ensuring long-term stability and performance of the floor.
This project was successfully completed in just 4 days, with careful moisture management and precise installation.
